Bestbuy help
i recently did a $3k order for best buy. my refunder couldnt do refund so he got me a replacement. I tried returning the replacement in the store but they couldnt because it chargedback the invoice of $0. they told me to ship it back. does anyone know if I will be able to get the refund by shipping it back? how long is the process?

also, i hve a feeling all of this will fail. should i just return the original item in store as it is a fail?
Talk with your refunder first.I can't stress how important this is.

Go with what your refunder says if he is reputable

If you got a replacement, go to another Best Buy location to see if you can return it. Some of the sales people are stupid, so results will vary by store.

What this guy said. They see that it as $0 but if they scroll down they see the original price. Up to the person to feel comfortable authorizing the refund
Same thing happened to me.
Store manager needs to authorize the return.

When you go to return in store, tell them YOU NEVER GOT the original shipment and you were promised either a refund or a replacement. Then tell them you chose to do the replacement but it took longer than expected so you no longer need it. The employee will call up his/her manager and then will process the refund.

Yeah I did do that. The manager came but he said that because my item has a unique serial number to the $0 invoice, he couldnt link it to the original price I got it for. so he just told me to ship it back

What did you get? I did that with a MacBook

yup also macbook
Replacements always have a $00,00 value on the invoice, thus it requires a call after you’ve returned the replacement. Keep in mind that refunds can take up to one billing cycle and also keep in mind that this might take multiple calls.
To be honest, if you got the replacement, it'll be faster to sell it in person for cash or something and pay off your bill. Thus, this is a win-win situation because your credit score will go up too
When I got a MacBook from Best Buy, I returned the replacement in store. First the manager tried to take it and not give me anything, so I had to explain to her that it was a replacement for the first one that didn't turn up. She was able to pull up my first order and refund my card for the amount of the MacBook. Took like 10 minutes.

Did they make you swipe the card for the refund? I used a virtual card for my best buy order so I'm not sure if I can just go in with receipt and the item and get the refund.
