SE Basic Question

Hi all,

Am going to make a thread with some questions I have, and also hopefully anyone new can also lookover and learn a little about SE items.

To SE a item, say from Logitech/Apple or w/e, must you have originally bought the product?

I will edit the answer in here once I have one!

TO SE a item, how do you avoid the company saying "Send it back to us?"

Will put answer here once I have.

For SE, no. You don't need to original item to SE. It's different from refund.

Use the battery method. If they insist, just box them.

SE Standing for Social Engineer, yes? And to then SE a item from a company must you have a Serial No to pretend you have a product/invoice number, or does this method rely on the company handing out products?

Secondly, what is the battery method? (say the battery of product exploded?)
And box them, just a empty box or?

Ice is a no-go if you ask me, too obvious. Just put rocks in it, and make the box looks very suspicious
