👎 Question about hardware id and hardware changes.
Hi, I was banned from HWID a few weeks ago, I want to know if I change my motherboard, processor and ram, I will no longer be banned by HWID? I'm just going to change those pieces, but the rest is left, for example the SSD and HDD, GPU and the power supply.

THX !!!
Change your HDD , reinstall the windows on the new one and you're unbanned.

this is fixed
I understand, but if I only change the components he mentions, will I remove the hwid? I am in the process of changing hardware but both hard disks ssd and hdd did not think to change them.

I need to know if I change all the components of my pc and not the hard drives, will I still be banned by hwid?

yes, if you change ur hdd/sdd you will be unbanned. Buy 60gb hdd and install windows. Then boot ur pc from new hdd and use old as second.
Oh so they only read the main drive HWID?
@Xolhozht installed a new ssd and windows - he still got banned. What gerassss suggests doesn't seem to be a working solution anymore.

I heard several things now, from changing mainboard only to even changing CPU clock speed. I would guess that replacing the mobo is enough though.
We'd just need someone to test it lol

Guess I'll try MOBO + CPU + SSD
they did something wrong then.
just reinstall windows i was hwid banned from another game i forgot but it fixed my problem
If I change the mobo, and do not change anything else, not ssd or hdd, will I elude the hwid?

For me , it was just the HDD , they could have changed that so you have to try it.

I believe they are now using the HWID of other parts, I just have no clue which one(s).
Recently got HW banned and tried switching to an old hard drive with a new install of Windows on it, didn't work. Got banned after closing DBD on a brand new account. Gonna try upgrading my CPU+Mobo to see if that works. Anybody know if I can still use that second hard drive? Or is it now 'marked' since I got that ban while I was on it? Have no clue how these bans work
