👎 Question about hardware id and hardware changes.

At this point no one, except the devs, do. Gerassss had switching hard drive work for him awhile ago, but it seems to no longer work for any of us. For all we know, they could have marked every part of your computer, so a new system would be required. Overkill, but nonetheless possible (sort of)

New motherboard , new hdd , new cpu should fix your problem.

Also if you got HWID banned before and you changed your HDD after, becareful, one ban will result in a direct HWID ban.

Okay so I went and bought a new mobo+CPU, used the same second hard drive(that got one regular ban on it), the same internet, GPU, peripherals as my HW banned PC and played DBD on a brand new account for about two hours. No ban so far. And the most recent ban I got happened right after playing one match and quitting the game so I think I'm in the clear. Seems like getting a new motherboard+CPU+HDD is how you get past EAC's latest HW ban method.

are you going to use cheat engine? or did you already use it? I intend to occupy CE but I am a bit afraid, I do not want to be banned again by HWID.

I haven't used anything. I think the most I'll use now is Steam Achievement Manager because I don't wanna get banned again so soon lol. Maybe I'll use the latest bypass for when I wanna play survivor with fancy cosmetics, but that's it.

Still not banned?

My new hardware should arrive by tomorrow, just double checking that changing these 3 components is still working.

Still not banned. I didn't test using my original hard drive that I got a HW ban on with this new mobo+CPU, but I don't wanna risk a ban on these parts already haha. Already wasted enough money.
