Returning a refunded item.

Hey all,

I just refunded a 600+ item from bloomingdales. I wanted to go in-store and return it and receive store credit or a new size. Is this possible? I'm just worried that they'll be able to find my order/refund through the UPC/serial number barcode on my shoe box. I am planning on telling them it was a gift and that I lost the gift receipt.

Shoes don't have a serial number lol. I wouldn't do it if you used your legit name for the shipping address/refund. They'll likely want an ID for a no-receipt return and while it seems like a long shot they'd link it back to your refund, I personally wouldn't risk that.

DUDE you got it for free. Just sell it and buy another shoe

Why? Its refunded already? If it were up to me I'd buy the desired size of the same clothing and switch the tags up with the old ones. Don't think they'll take anything without a receipt.

No safe. They have all your information already in the system. Just sale it and try to recoup that way.

While I agree with the majority of people above, I know stuff like this is possible. Specifically, Nordstrom has probably one of the most lenient return policies. I've had customers returned refunded items there for extra store credit without receipts. Essentially a double refund

Your order will show up as refunded instore. Don't try and return it lmao. Only do what guy above said.
