Just wait. They told me the same thing and after 3 working days, I received the refund. Probably you don't need to worry.

Most of the time when they've told you there's an investigation there's probably not one.

if anyone can do it id be keen

It’s been almost a week now any they say they are waiting on response from the carrier should I try something else

if you said you didn't receive them you're ok. Just stick with the storey and you'll get your refund.
