False Ban

Hi mods,

I'd like to inquire about a ban that I have received on my account, a number of years ago. I am only creating this thread now as I wasn't aware there was actually a Staff Disputes subforum for this purpose. I do recall emailing dave@mpgh since the ban was made by him, but now I think I understand why I got no reply haha.

A few years ago one day when I logged in to MPGH, I was surprised to have been banned and this message was shown to me:

You have been banned for the following reason:
Hacked

Date the ban will be lifted: Never

I never understood what the 'Hacked' ban reason even meant, as well as why I got banned as I was certain I did not break any rules or breach any regulations.

I see, I certainly did not notice any unusual activity on my account back then :/
So would there be anything you can do to lift the ban and as a safety precaution I'll change my password?

Two different locations were found on your account. One in Singapore, the other in Netherlands. Anything you can tell me about these?

I can't tell you anything about that as I really am not aware that it happened. But could it be possible that my VPN was on when it happened back then?
I remember I used to use Norton to bypass certain restrictions by my ISP.

Were there any unusual activity when my account was logged in from the Netherlands IP?

The ban happened probably a year or two ago, really can't be sure when it happened since after the ban I completely stopped visiting MPGH.
I still do have access to my account, able to log in and everything, it's just I'm restricted from doing anything.

What?! That was definitely not me, I have zero idea that it even happened. Please walk me through what I can do to prove that I was not involved.

I have never attempted to sell anything on MPGH let alone scam any user. Why would I throw away my main account that I'm proud of, just for a mere $59?

It doesn't matter if it wasn't you.

You are responsible for the protection and security of your account.

You will need to handle this report before you can be unbanned.

False Ban
