when doing the corner glitch why do u need to hold shift???

Dude u have to hold shift becasue when u corner glitch and get half way in then u can press crouch and get in fully.
If u hold crouch u will go in half way and thats it.
If u hold crouch u will go in half way and thats it.
what maxgork said, but som dude told me that ctrl glitch was patched..
