Is this normal??

So basically i cheated bloodpoints back in 2016 or some shit. I havent touched the game for 2 years, just came back to it now.
It turns out they've reset my account completely. All my characters went back to level 1 and all my currency back to 0. Fair enough, atleast i didnt get banned.

The weird thing is:
I played 2 games, earned like 18k bloodpoints, upgraded my Jake character to level 2 and closed the game.
A few minutes later i reopened the game and everything was reset again. 0 bloodpoints, Jake was back to level 1. I've tested about 5 times now, playing 1 game, then closing the game, and reopening. Everytime it wipes my progress.

Just to make it clear: Im not cheating atm. The only instance ive been cheating was back in 2016 when i used cheat engine to modify blood points.

So is this normal? I havent played the game for 2 years, so what do i know, maybe its supposed to wipe progress everytime you close the game, but it just seems weird. Maybe instead of banning me they decided to fuck with me and wipe my progress everytime i close the game?
