I have the german iw sound files, which dont provide me the directory that is described in the custom sounds folder. I tried fitting them but got the famous files different. since im an idiot i didnt do a backup and need to update via steam again XD. So my question basically is, do the sounds also work with the german sound iws ?

I have the same problem as the guy above. I have a polish version of mw2 and I don't have one of the directories listed in custom sounds. I had to delete the game and i'm currently reinstalling it. I don't have a MP folder in the ru folder but I forgot in wich iwd. I'll write in which one when my game is installed.
Could someone pls tell me what to do?

OK I got the files different from server all the time so I reinstalled and put only the castom background music. And I still got that error. BUT when I removed the custom music and put everything else the error was gone. So why can't I have a custom background music?

no, vac doesnt ban for custom skins

why i don,t got the people in color and only camo skin and ...

i can't get those ferrari signs on my weapons, i mean i can get the urban camo thing but then my weapons are just plain red, and as soon as i put for example: "weapon_magpul_masada_new_iron_col" that in iw_07.iwi" (using pakscape) then i get the error message files different from server..
any help?
