apple cuz it's apple.

apple is more comfortable in my opinion..

I dont own a Smartphone for 8 years, but if i only have the choice between pest (Android) and cholera (iOS) then ofc cholera.
Android is Java and Java is Cancer.
Better an closed System where i need to break out to get admin privlegse, then my system is basing on Cancer (JVM).

android i like the choice factor + androids customization potential compared to iphone is much better

both have their advantages and disadvantages.
android gives the user freedom and puts a lot of power in their hands.
ios is idiot-proof and good for people who want something that just works.

all i want is a phone able to run gnu/linux distros.

Apple, Just because it is so simple to use I hate complicated shit.

if android phones were as optimized for the hardware as apple phones would be apple would be behind

but its the same as with windows vs macos
if you can tailor the OS to a couple keycomponents and optimize it "weaker" hardware will be at the same level if not better as seen with iphones

apple could for sure get way more customers if they drop prices
not that its more profitable but im 100% sure theyd double their marketshare
