Lagswitch

I don't know if this is in the right section or not, if so please move the thread thanks.

so i downloaded the Software lagswitch from the website used it for about 3 months and yesterday it changed, i opened the program but after 20 seconds the program closes. i cannot work out why it wont stay open.. i found another Software lagswitch but when im in game it wont activate. i run steam as admin, i run lagswitch as admin... it works when im not ingame, but its like it wont register the button being pushed. the game does not use that button.. can anyone help me please

Do you have firewalls in place or something that could be stopping it from detecting internet connection?
