External IM?

Would it be possible for the forum to have an external IM? Say like an IRC on a private webpage but intended for the IM of MPGH.
It could improve communication during the times MPGH is getting ddosed

Other than that it'd be a great thing to just open a page with all your chats and nothing interfering. I think this would make IM much more appealing.

Last night I had to wait 9 minutes to add a contact.

As far as I know, it's in development. At least an offsite version is in the works, but the whole project is easily portable for other systems.

man that would be great tbh, my browser gets so laggy due to having 3k+ contacts, a seperate and simple messenger would be godsend

It will never happen tbh. It was promised that last June, we'd have a mobile app for IM and group chats within a months time, and where's that gone? Dama raised like 10k for the IM development and nothing happened. I guess it's a matter of waiting

would be great so i can have a full window for IM and one for scammer grave and not switch between them on my left display

I also have alot of contacts takes alot of time just to add one person and besides that when you have several tabs open google chrome crash

it would be great if I can use IM on my mobile, now i have to bring my laptop in everyday

to me a new domain would be good for chat, like mpgh.chat or sumthing

AFAIK a desktop version would be coming first, it's easier. Porting to a phone requires rewriting it for react native.
