lag help

i use vmware workstation to farm on crossfire but it lags me to much.when i was playing clan war i used to have 180 status but now with vmware i have 350.
vmware also lags me when i dont use it.so is there a way to reduce my lag?i have tried ccleaner and game booster but lag stays the same?what can i do ?
