Injector?

Hey, im recently new to modding/hacking. And the word "injector" keeping popping up here and there.

Im under the assumption that it injects the mod/hack into Engine.exe file to make it undetectable, but ive never seen of one myself.

Anyone help the new guy out?

Also, your explanation of an injector is spot on for the most part.

Modding does not edit engine.exe... Think of modding in just about every other game- you're basically just editing/adding to the game files.
