best cpu cooler?
Whats the best cpu cooler for $50 or less? Height should be less than 160mm, otherwise it won't fit in my case. I've thought of getting the CM Hyper 212 EVO, it's cheap and seems to be fairly good. I also could've gotten the Noctua NH-D15 for a discounted price, but sadly that wouldn't have fitted in my case.

I'd like to hear your opinions for the best cpu cooler around that price (=

maybe check if the smaller noctua coolers fit like the 120 or 140mm ones

the bequiet coolers are superb too

There is the Noctua NH-U9S which could fit so I'll just probably grab that if I get it used somewhere. I will also look into the bequiet ones too, so thanks for the suggestion.
I'd strongly suggest you look into closed circuit water coolers, they're ~50-60$ and work much better than an expensive radiator style CPU sink

thats straight up incorrect
especially for 50$ an aircooler will work a lot better, especially for noise normalized performance aka silence as a concern

noctua is good
what specific case and cpu do you have?
Never had any issues with Noctua.
These AIO watercoolers got pretty cheap, should fit your budget + they are kinda small.

I'd rather go with air cooling, as I am not even overclocking. Thanks for the suggestions though.

then you should be fine with most coolers
youd even be fine with a 30$ hyper 212 evo or similar ones from arctic as your cpu wont be putting out too much heat

the only real reason to go with a clc is aestetics

I guess I'll just go with that then

if youre looking for some aestetics then those might be for you too

i would buy thr Noctua-NH-D15-Tower-cooler
