Intel or AMD?

Intel. Sure, AMD has been doing better in the last few years, but Intel is just so stable and I never have issues with them for the most part.
Intel is for people who can't afford to buy AMD.

while this post is like, nearly a year old, I'll still say this, it's more reversed than the way you say it is, AMD is more of a cheaper side, but Intel pulls back on the price.
Both are ok. Intel more for gaming.
Can help you get pc parts for 20% of price. Add me on IM
All the way Intel!

I planned a while ago on upgrading my PC to a 8th gen MOBO (cause the one I have supports 6th/7th) with an i3-8100 cpu which would satisfy my needs. Some people however recommended me to get AMD Ryzen 5 2600 with a B450 M

I just need my PC to play a couple games which aren't very high-end, such as Apex Legends. And calling with people on ******* at the same time and that's pretty much what my maximum would be. I'm not going to edit videos or use Autodesk apps or such stuff. Just a little gaming.
Going to add my old GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with it.

Thanks for reading all this, your opinion would be really appreciated.

edit: just seen a thread about this but people seem to have different opinions, so i would prefer more clarification on which one is the best for gaming
AMD, AMD AMD
Intel Bad
Ryzen for life
I bought Intel, actually buying Intel since my first PC. I was never into Ryzen.
amd
i use amd and it works very well
For my home PC, I have switched to an Ryzen 5-5600X coming from an Intel I7-3770k.

Of course the computer ist damned more powerful now, but I do not have the feeling of the pefekt matching system, that I always had when using the Intel.
There were many things to adjust, or desable to bring this AMD-Chipset to proper work. And some strange things happen in the daily use..
For example USB2.0 Stick works, USB3.0 Stick does not work. But the next day everything works again perfect, just to refuse work 10 days later... not good..

So I recommend a Intel CPU und Chipset. I use this at work with absolutely zero problems....
I used to use Intel, but now I'm team AMD baby
