D3D9?

D3D9?

Hi,

I've read that warrock changed to D3D9. If I try to start the game now (I've got the problem since this morning) I can push ok, then I can push game start. After that hackshield loads, the screen turns black... But while loading the game crashes. Does this have anything to do with D3D9? and how can I fix this?

Just Re-install, and run Smart Close before you run War Rock. You can Google Smart Close.

They reverted back to D3D8 today, G1 fail once again

That wont fix it, it is a GFX issue with ATI video cards..

I've got an GeForce 9600M GT Turbocache, I was able to run warrock yesterday. Weird... Also the smar***ose program didn't work, nor did reinstalling.

I have got an ATI graphic card but I haven't got any problem.

Which OS do you use? I think it was only a problem with ATI and Windows 7..

Hey I had the same problem, it may just be compatibility with Window 7. Right click on war rock > properties > compatibility > and then select Windows XP ( Service Pack 2) in the first box. Hope it works, it did for me.

Windows XP SP3

Didn't resolve the problem, in the error file of Microsoft Visual Studio, they say: The thread tried to write to a virtual adress for which it does not have appropriate acces.

Run Smart Close >.>?

try update your drivers of video card..

They've switched back....
