Computer problems

I booted my PC last night, it was fine in the morning and it has gone back to windows 8
It has re arranged all my files and all history on browsers etc has wiped, i can't find a fix on google wondering if anyone knows whats up
My PC is a lot slower and apps keep crashing, when i go into my system information it shows I have windows 10 but its windows 8 on my PC
