you could:

? please pm the answer to me thank u so muchPassing a value ByRef doesn't mean you can "return" something at all. The reference to the variable is passed to the method, and therefore any changes that occur to the variable during the method will affect the original variable as well.
Stop bumping super old topics. I don't care that it's a sticky. It's a sticky so that people can still use it as a reference.
