It shouldn't screw anything up. I heard its better if you install VB6.0-VB.net other then VB.net-VB6.0. But go ahead and give it a shot, I highly recommend learning VB.net as it has become so much more advanced. Here is an example, VB6.0 cannot even program 3D games well. As of VB.net is already programming in Xbox360 games. Halo 3 was made in C#.net, but could have easly been made in VB.net
