We already had that responsibility...
Only thing is, people tend to take it upon themselves to choose the render and set the poll so when I or another Jr (I don't even know who else there is anyways...) would post one, everyone got confused because someone had already started with one render and blah blah blah.
I'm sure it could be arranged to where it's more official and more organized, but why not just wait until the new team is formed, and spread that responsibility out among them as a customary thing?
Just make a thread in the challenge section about PMing a GFX team member about your battle and let them handle it.
This does mean completely taking the Jr's out of positions of power, although I have an idea for them as well.
Something like the Fringe tutoring sections.
You have potential? The GFX team hosts private lessons on live broadcast or releases exclusive PSD's and such for Jr's only.
Every once in a while, give a taste of that to regular members to give them some incentive to work harder and possibly make it into the Jr group.
We could also run applications for the Jr positions every 2-3 weeks in order to track improvements in regular members.
And the whole deal about Jr's potentially getting into the GFX team could be a reality as well.
Should they learn from the sessions at an impressive rate or make a lot of progress, consider them for some responsibility in the section they've given so much time to.
No one should go unrewarded for taking this seriously.

imo the jrs are getting phased out
b/c its not official and no one really knows who the jrs are and ur the only semi active one
and the gfx team do private tutition or resources for the jrs

These ARE my ideas; they're ideas I'm willing to put forth the effort to bring about whether I have help or not.
I wouldn't make you two worry about something that wasn't your responsibility in the first place, no worries there.
I'll just have a lot of time when school starts because I'll be doing it online for maybe 4 hours a day. Maximum.
I'm willing to run all this by myself if I need to.
Including the tutoring.
Help would be nice, but I don't expect it because it's time consuming.
Basically, I could make tutorials out of my PSD's, your PSD's, Shayne's PSD's, all with permission of course.
Live broadcasts would be good too, where I just make a tag or something and let people ask questions.
Similar to what Energy does.
His sessions have been helpful to other people, I don't see why we can't do an official GFX team broadcast.
Like have an account that all of us have the info to, and we can go on and do them whenever and post here when it's happening.
I could talk to Ethereal about it too.

1.) None of us here are good enough to do a good amount of tutoring, because everyone here is either newbie or hnov~lmod. Except Kiki, and unless you want him doing a bunch of tutoring, I don't think so.

This is true.
But tutorials for beginners wouldn't hurt anyone.
I would only be interested in learning from a few people here.
But I'm sure the choobs wouldn't mind learning from high nov-low-mods.

school is about to start up for me, plus i dont do too much tagging atm.

if we could make more tutorials that would be fine. itd be easier too.

We could also just do that.

I like the tutoring idea. I guess if I had time I could do a stream. If we reform the juniors we could do that. Plus more GFX members would be able to help with the process. We will see

How? While Kyle was good, there are better designers here now. Kyle seemed to be so good at the time because the gap between his abilites and everyone elses was so large.

But as for ideas go, what needs to be done is just more flare, more options need to be done every week/month, just to keep more creativity and competition up, even if some ideas do fail, everything needs to be experimented to see whats works.

I heavily agree on doing some team based GFX, which i think Ethereal suggested, mix teams accordingly, some good designers with newer ones, throw some collab competitions in for teams, and then you have these newer designers learning from PSD's that they're getting from these collabs = everyone wins.

I don't think it's the team that is failing, just the fact that the GFX section is the same every week. Allow member run competitions, seeing as both me and ethereal have already stated we're up for giving out prizes.
