more security? you are using something made by google...

and its not just a few bytes, I am running Leaks on chrome right now and it is leaking memory constantly.

I don't hate on safari, it's just that Chromium (Chrome) is a better adapted webkit.

Windows? Office? WLM? The dev release is pretty much always better than the stable one with Chromium. I've used daily releases from version 2 to 6, and I haven't had problems than the occasional bad build.

Edit: maybe you have a bad extension or something. Try the latest daily of Chromium.
