No, I'd then have to read it, learn it, ask questions about it. You can't ask a book questions.
Books don't over explain everything, if it does, you're reading the wrong book.

The reason you think it's useless is just because you don't have the attention span to read all of it, that's why you go to those short internet tutorials. Not trying to insult you here, but that's a habit you can fix, by reading..

I don't have a short attention span, but if you can say that books don't over explain everything, then that means you've seen or read a book that doesn't. Would you be able to recommend me a proper book that doesn't overexplain? I have been reading c++ primer plus and it isn't to bad, but its on my computer, not the actual book so it hurts the eyes...

better read to much than to less.


just buy the paper version. paper reads a lot easier

Thats what I said there, but I don't have enough money, or a bookstore that sells c++ books near me.
