OMFG I was doing this math test. Fuck I feel like an idiot. It was Square roots and some prameter thingy. So when I started I looked at this number, I had to find the square root of 8456. So I look for that symbol on the calculatore, I couldn't find it. I was like "FUCK! This is gunna take years". So like 1 third through my test and 3 thirds through the test time. I saw the fucking square root button, fuck I was so pissed of at my-self. Anyways I aced the test =P.

My math teacher is whack. She told us to complete the entire 2001, June, Math B regents exam over the weekend. I accidently did the Math A regents and I got a check +.
The rest of the class either got a check - or no credit at all.

8456 is not a perfect square, I think your teacher wanted you to simplify that instead of just finding it's root by using the button on your calculator.

I got like decimals, so I assume so. But I never saw any rounding to the tenth or anything.

The square root sign is the same as raising it to (1/x), where x is the amount. Eg: 8456^(1/2), 8456^(1/3) = Cube root, etc... That's what I do with my TI-89, because it doesn't have a square root button.

=/ It wasn't just square roots, Were doing trioligy or something like triangle thing like that. We find the answer in Square root, then turn it into the answer. So its not just square roots.

my math teacher made my class find the square roots of some numbers w/o a calql8r with some kind of math formula xD but i forgot it lol.
