I'm surprised that none of the answers fully explain the actual answer. is the angle is 52 more than it's compliment, and the angle is x, then: x = (90 - x) + 52 which means that: x = 142 - x or: 2x = 142 so: x = 71 degrees. Double check: 90 - 71 = (71 - 52)
