Well it's over for me My housemate she is moving out in 2 days to move back to her Mom's

Then it will be just me alone in this 5 bedroom house

His "housemate" is his mum, thus he said she. Now his mum is going in for an operation, he now lives "alone" in a "5" bedroomed house which what he really means is 2 bedrooms, a living room, bathroom and kitchen. He classes a bedroom as somewhere he could sleep.
