Yeah that is really nice, only thing I would say is about the text, just looks a little bit plain, did you try it in Overlay or Soft Light?

no i didn't actually, text is by far my worst area, i'm just not any good at it.

i've never used altered blending modes with text layers but thats a really good idea..i'll try it out, ty m8

for the style u use, ur text seems to fit, but on conventional styles it will look rather..well..horrible

try this little trick for blending it in really nively, get text, type it and blah blah blah open layer blending options, now go to------- ( leave things default unless i specify that particular cxategory to be different)

drop shadow- distance - 5px
spread- 0%
size- 5px

BEVEL AND EMOSS- depth- 10%
size - 2px
soften - 2px

STROKE- size - 1px
colour - black


make that and your text will have a nice 3d dark shine, to make your text blend in drain the fill out of it untill you like it, 100% fill is full black, 0% fill is just the 3d text outline with glossy center..... see what you like

due to the embossing and stroke, that style prolly can't be applied as cleanly to the text sized i use
