Your teacher is sick... is that a reason? My advice for you is:
- start watching enlish movies for the pronancinacion (whatever how you have to write it)(CSI, Bones, Sesamstreet?, Darma & Greg :P)
- try to read a enlish book (maybe you can start with a triller -avi 1-), be sure you have a interesting book, otherwise it is very hard to read a book.
- Be active on internet and don't be affraid to typ something in enlish.. if it is really BAD they correct you (mostly)
