[SOLVED]Possible to change nick in-game?

the "name" command does not work, but sometimes, i see players being renamed (player x has renamed to player y). is it even possible?

From what I understand it isn't possible, and the cause of you seeing players being renamed ingame i think is from someone leaving and getting replaced by a new player. it randomly does that sometimes.

its possible, I guess name string is located in steam_api.dll

It is hardcoded.. so it's not that easy.
