Programming isn't just a fun hobby you can make a solid career out of it. That's what i plan to do eventually
I'm trying to improve my grades so i can get into a decent college with a decent computer science/ASM/software engineering course.
EDIT: my bad, if it seems off topic i meant that it's a good excuse :3

You in high school? Because I'm in middle school and my grades don't really matter...
But yea I'm going to make a career out of computer programming. It's my passion in life, the only reason I exist besides soccer and trumpet.

Well I will probably go to MSU if I can't go to Stanford. I want to get into Stanford as they have the best programming classes in the country. And if I can't get into Stanford I get 50% off at MSU because my dad works there so I already think about my future now.

That's how I buy NX Cash. My dad fully supports programming so he buys me any book I want, as he also is a programmer. Don't make lame excuses like your 15.
Few problems. Selling lemonade- get my reputation ruined in school and no one will buy and i live in an apartment. Washing Cars- No idea how to find :P My towns very boring and a lota scary people. Mowing People's lawns- not to sure about that. Anyways I'm gona get a job as a lifeguard soon enough and I'll be racking in some cash during the summer. Anyways, my mom knows nothing about programming and neither does my dad and they don't support me doing it anyways. I'm learning C++ just for fun and as like a hobby (no offense if you take offense to this comment). C++ so far is really fun but I wana make a living as a game designer and that will require C++ I think. So that could help me in the future. Although my mom doesn't believe me when i say that and still doesn't buy me a book and anyways I got the power of google. Not really anything else that I really need. But @fukojr2 I really appriciate how your rlly trying to help ^^.

I doubt your parents would say no to something you're that interested in... especially when even if it's a hobby, it's something to fall back on in the future.
learning programming just to hack is almost shameful >.>

Please. Explain to me how it's shameful. For some people programming could go far. Others just want to have fun. It is not shameful just because you wana learn to program because u wana hack, many people learn to program because of it.

And most of them end up sucking at it Learning a programming language just to be able to make hacks will get you nowhere. You'll end up as C&Per

Troof.
Become a competent C++ programmer, then try moving on to hack. If you learn because of hacks, You'll be rushing into trying to make hacks, and in turn, fail, get discouraged, quit.
