recording help!

I always used to make warrock video's with fraps ,but now somethings wrong when i go to record with fraps as soon as i hit record the whole game freezes and sometimes crashes! But When i first found out it didn't work i stopped using it, but today i used it and it worked then i came off warrock and when i tried to use it again it just kept freezing and crashing.i have put my graphics to the lowest i have put my fraps to the highest frames and lowest frames but it still wont work.
