It's hard to know who would do things that makes this spin out of control. Sadly I am new to this forum so any updates on using the console probably won't come my way. But if it does, that is great.

There's a middleground that isn't achievable with public releases. People can't be trusted to be responsible. If I give a beggar $10, what's to say they will use it to buy food or blow it on the lottery? Seriously though, I blame bad game design. Things like boring repetition and ludicrous crafting times encourage hacking because many people simply don't have the time or patience to put up with bullshit.
