Goddam I hate that stereotype. . But yea, it does attract a large amount of total nubs, at least on this forum there seems to be a large influx of them :3
Great concept, horrible implementation.
C++ is like 25+ years old, chances are D won't be popular though (B, A)?

C++ was made after C as a extension in 1983 and long after become popular. Today C++ is the most used language. =)

It's 28+ years ago.

TIOBE Software: The Coding Standards Company

C++ is not most popular.

Glad VB is going down though

It may have been overrun by the "On-the-fly-development" languages, but C++ still remains the most used language. *Cheers*

So now we know why Apple tries to monopolize iApp development for objective-C, bitches want higher TIOBE ranking. IT'S A TRAP.

BrainFuck is not a general purpose language as it only has a few operators, and the code is too complex to actually make it usable for a Every-day-programmer.
It's more of a "Prove your worth" Language

@'Bruno It's BS. No one can know how many people TRULY codes in C++, as I'm sure there's thousands of "underground" malware creators, who are unknown...Not to speak of all the other people who does coding in spare time
It certainly looks interesting but I don't see the need to move away from C++ just yet. If it ever gains any momentum and takes off then I might hop over, but right now I think it's better to stick with the good ol' C++
