BrainFuck is not a general purpose language as it only has a few operators, and the code is too complex to actually make it usable for a Every-day-programmer.
It's more of a "Prove your worth" Language
@'Bruno It's BS. No one can know how many people TRULY codes in C++, as I'm sure there's thousands of "underground" malware creators, who are unknown...Not to speak of all the other people who does coding in spare time
Just like anything in life. Its called statistics.
The same applies for any other language. ^^

Yep. Statistics are as low as a guess, yet people trow it around like it's a scientific fact.

Yea, I'm sure there's .NET "Programmers" working underground...Those tough boys....
It may have been overrun by the "On-the-fly-development" languages, but C++ still remains the most used language. *Cheers*
C > C++, C++ is not first.

Hmm,
/, I never said it, he did. I do know Java has a large development community (android apps ftw?), I personally don't like Java, but that might just be 'cos I'm forced to do a semester of it at uni and we don't do anything fun :/

Java is "easy" and fun if you do the right projects.
