MPGH Post Bans

I heard post bans were a tradition of MPGH

When are the post bans?
And is it true if you post more than your post ban in that day, you ban would be extended?

1337, 2000, 3000, 4000..... etc

each post you go over by supposedly extends your post ban by one extra year

1337 2000 3000 4000 5000 6000 7000 8000 9000 10000 11000 12000 13000 13337 (not really) 14000 so on and so forth.
