Do you ever feel like you sabotage things because you feel like you want to be sad? I don't know. I seem to be given a lot of good chances that I pass up or fuck up. I could easily improve everything with a little effort, but I never do. I don't know how to feel about myself right now.

He- posts about other guys sometimes, flirts, and we have declined talking by far
I- don't put in enough effort, can't see him a lot, am moving to college soon, feel like i'm losing the connection we used to have

Should I break it off now?

Uh depends, if you've been unhappy for a while then yes do work, if its just been for a bit then it could be something you guys just need to get over.

A strong relationship revolves around problems this is one of them, stay with him.

Bro, you should discuss your problems with him. If you truly love him, and want to be with him, you should make an effort to save the relationship. Sit down with him and talk to him about what you think about eachother. Even though i'm not gay, I have been in a relationship with a girl, I assume things are somewhat similar. If he posts about other guys, tell him it makes you uncomfortable and uncover the true meanings of the posts, as they could have completely no meaning. Just him being kind. If you say you don't put enough effort out, you should if you love him and want to be with him.

On the other hand you are going to college, plenty of fish to fuck. You'll have a much better experience in college knowing you can do whatever.

No reason to be worried about an actual relationship at his age. Its the people you meet in college that'll be there at your wedding or when you're in need. Once you graduate high school it only takes one year to almost completely lose contact with all your friends.

If he doesn't make you happy , get rid of him.
