Editor Mod beta 3
this mod is pretty cool but requires steam
i didn't remove steam code.
why? i'm not a cracker. besides..... i don't want to get in trouble.
who knew inverted circles made butterflies
i made this client as part of my project to learn C# and i made it thinking off drawing content on custom servers by admins. that's why it uses the most sendtilesquare so tmod and tshock can detect it.( well... not so much anymore lol)
well.. is really the first thing i ever coded so some features still buggy. i wont take the whole credit for this. i actually borrowed some code from known clients and improved it. i mean, there's no point on reinventing the wheel specially if I'm not getting any profit from it. besides is nothing i wouldn't have done eventually.
this client works with an interface on screen so there's only 4 on the keyboard you need to know about
1 - right click clears selection
2/3 - UP and DOWN arrows control the selsize
4 - middle mouse controls noclip. press space to stop it
5/6 arrows LEFT and RIGHT controls the circle inclination
how to use:
- 1 - select a drawing mod.
- editmode
works like tmod used to do but now you can make triangles and circles
- Brush
brush works like normally placing tiles. except that now you can increase the selsize or selection area. and it does not modify any weapon
-anchor
it basically anchors the selection controlled by selsize
- 2 - select shape
note:
optionally you can change the position of the shape around the selection.
- 3- select brick-mode or misc or furniture mode or wall-mode
brick-mode only selects bricks
furniture mode only selects furniture
misc select the other tiles
wall-mode select walls
brick-mode and misc cant be used together nor furniture mode.
-4- click on (fill all | fill in | outline)
new features:
deletion mode
how it works:
select and area and click on the kind of tile inside the selection that you want to delete.
same goes for walls.
this feature is really good to get rid of crap without delete other important stuffs BUT.
after selection is complete...
be careful where you click!
i fixed a lot of bugs too and the selection no longer makes water.
the house button guess what it does.....

copy and paste mod are still buggy. i haven't figure out what the problem is. i think there's more than one problem and all of them involving my archenemy: math.
it doesn't work most of the time but when it does, its very cool. i don't recommend using it yet. if you know how to solve the problem don't hesitate to tell me

notes:
this mod intended to be use by admins so if you gonna use it for griefing don't spec the thing to work correctly.
btw dont ask either about the button colors lol
