Theres no way of hosting mods without getting banned, if you want to host mods without getting banned i suggest running the mod on alterIWnet

Bannable offense, plus I'm not sure it even works anymore. Host mods on aIW.

You can still use Liberation to host mods in the steam retail version of MW2.

To threadstarter: Use a program called MW2 Liberation to host it. It will probably get you banned (I'm not banned after using it in 8 months but...).

That's my point. There ARE ways to do it, but you're probably going to get banned. I wouldn't risk it, I'd just download aIW.

I has been hosting mods for more than 8 month and i hasnt been ban yet just use mw2 liberation ( download: search Google) and just put your mod on the map called mods of mw2 lib and read the readme of liberation and u Will not get ban

So basically, bottom line is if you don't want to get banned (you don't want to take any risk), just download aIW and host mods there. If you are willing to take the risk

just try liberation.

ye i dont really think u get ban with liberation because those people so ge ban is because them use aimbots or wallhacks programs or is because thems liberation are outdated just follow intructions on liberation readme and i guess u will not get ban

No, you'll get banned from Liberation. It's quite a common occurence.
