I dont know shit about developing or that won't matter though right?

I don't have my Vista disk either
so if it fucks up I'm screwed with no OS?

Vista is really slow and apparently 8 is really fast

Get it. Also get (warez) windows 7 just in case you don't like that beta developers version..

You might want to wait a bit until they iron out a whatever needs to be ironed out. Just my opinion though
