Joining MPGHcraft

Creating a launcher and I'd like to know the protocol used here.

I can't seem to directly authenticate via the IP, so the hosts file seems to be the only solution for changing the http://www.minecraft.net/game/getversion.jsp authentication.

Unless, of course, if possible, may you please PM me the address of the authentication system?

Also, when I try to log in using: http://www.minecraft.net/game/getversion.jsp?user=<username>&password=<password& version=12 I get "Outdated Launcher".

What is the appropriate value to use as the version?

Speaking of the server, client and authentication, I think that there is an error with having usernames with spaces:

EDIT: Seems to me as if the protocol used, http://www.minecraft.net/game/getversion.jsp?user=<username>&password=<password> &version=12 is still used, but wouldn't accept that request coming elsewhere other than the launcher itself.

no special charachters or spaces allowed in the account name

Sadly, everyone has to wait for 1.9 to come out before we can play without fear of griefing

It's for MPGH users, you got an MPGH account so it's not a problem.

@arunforce I Know, but if i try connect [in mineshafter] then i get Account is un-verifed
and if i try in [in Real Minecraft] Then i Get Account is not premium, but i Edited Host file Within These codes, what to do?

are you sure you edited the host file properly, if you host file isnt gigantic could you post it, i wasnt able to connect at first either cause i put it in the wrong spot on the host file

I've readed put it into very last spot, i'm sure i did as in first post typed.

not all host files are the same, some other programs will edit your host file, my anti virus edited mine, it takes almost 30 seconds to scroll to the bottom, i put it in with those and it didnt seem to work, i had to put it before not after apparently

@SizemanBackup Are you putting it back into the folder after you edit it?
