Looking into classes
Looking into classes
My school provides classes that you can buy, such as C++ classes and more. I pan on getting and taking the C++ class for the fun of it, but I do plan (dream) of going into the software development field as a career.
My question is the school provides computer science classes too, including AP computer science classes. Would taking computer science classes help me or is it required for software development?
I'm not even totally sure what computer science is, can someone explain it.

Computer science is the science of how to treat information. There are many different areas in computer science. Some of the areas consider problems in a more abstract way. Some areas need special machines, called computers. A person who works with computers will often need math, science, and logic in order to make and use computers.
