When I get on my laptop, then I'll TV. We're literally in the same time zones, so it'll be fine. Probably around tomorrow or so. Have you tried defragging your harddisk maybe? Downloaded crossfire from different mirrors?
There is also a maintenance/update going on right now, so try running crossfire after that is done. See if it works.
i was trying before the patch. and my timezone is different then what my MPGH says. :P
but sure, just PM me when you wana teamview
When it doesnt run, have you made sure that the process is running in task manager, its called crossfire.exe
yes, obviously, ahha. no, once the Xtrap stops loading, the process just kills itself, no "crossfire.exe" apears.
i need more TECHNICAL help. i know the basics of how a computer runs. lol

Well it's basically a crossfire problem. And like said there is a maintenance going on, so yeah.
Ohh and before this error happened, did the patcher run and load anything?
yes, that's what i said. when you start "crossfire.exe" you get the g4_box.exe, which would be the box with news and update information where you press "start game." then after that the patcher starts up, once it finished downloading the update, it instantly closes.

So it did install the new updates. The patcher downloads file from the server, unfortunately those files haven't been set yet because the maintenance is still going and the files are probably still being update. Wait until the maintenance is over, then try again. If it happens, reinstall after the update.
ITS UR VIDEO CARD MEMORY, ITS TOO LOW I MESSAGED HIM
dude, it's not my video card. i've been running crossfire for idk how long now with 150 FPS. it's something crossfire related...
you can't just slap something up hoping it's the answer. no offence to you, i do thank you for your attempts at helping though.
and i've been playing since beta with 150 FPS, occasionally 200
re format ur computer for last resort...
I gave you an internet

Doubt it because like he said, he's playing on a high FPS. So the video card memory is more than good to be playing crossfire.
Is it working now? Since the patch just ended?
still nope. i've noticed the process Xtrap doesn't open while startup. i get patcher, then blank. the icon in the bottom right corner of my screen {Xtrap update} doesn't pop-up.
i think i may have a possible solution. does Advanced system care, some with a firewall?
i think Xtrap doesn't execute. or maybe the ports are blocked for Xtrap/crossfire. but i have not the slightest clue on how to re-open them with ASC.
