I always found it funny that tutorials themselves had to be artistically pleasing as well.

yeah i really like the guide to photoshoping tut.
The layout and textures looked awesome.
Who cares about the background when the text is so awesome! Also, too bad I had to crop the previews which really fucked up the quality.

Your previews could have been a lot larger in proportion to your background.
You just resized them for no reason really.
Never resize something like that for a tutorial when you can just make the tutorial itself big enough to fit the pieces in.
And the text isn't all that special. I say that in an effort to get you to pay attention to what's important...

Let's get into phylosophy now:
So, my original piece was somewhere about 500x700 pixels, I resized each to about 250(?)x350 or something like that. Then each preview (15) would be double the size which would mean that the canvas should be 5250 pixels heigher, and like it wasn't large enough with the 10000+ pixels and it's size would cross the limit of mental normality.
