Werid Xtrap code

I got this Xtrap poping up to my desktop and everytime i try to play cf it wont let me because of i had a "progam" opened which affect the crossfire game, which i dont have any progam open.

Maybe your antivirus?

Turn it off.

Close any background programs that may be affecting crossfire.

that the thing i had no progam or background progam that i had on idk why this is happeneding is it because i got ban because when i got ban this message started to open to me...

Try reinstalling?

xD i already did try to reinstall cf but i didnt try deleting the file then reinstall.

Well you can try that out.

Try setting compatibility mode for crossfire.exe and CF_G4box.exe, you can find these in the C:\Program iles\Z8Games\Crossfire folder.

Right click, go to properties. Then go to the compatibility tab. Then in the box click "Run program in compatibility mode for" - or it says something similar to that. Then in the drop down menu select the highest compatibility option given.

ARGH.. i try all the option and i dont think none of it working.

Yeah i send them in the morning and i didnt get a answer back yet i wish they give it soon:O! Thanks for all your help and nice to talk to my first mod ;D

Oh alright. They usually reply within 24-48 hours, or rather more quickly.

its not a program affectin it its lack there of iv only gotten that messege when i was in safe mode on win 7 it basicly means that some files faild to get executed

No, actually, when you run safe mode, everything is still working. It's just that crossfire doesn't support safe mode. You can try all OS's in safe mode, and you probably will get that error. Something is affecting X-Trap in result of making that error come. Just my theory.

So when exactly did this error start happening?
Maybe you could try doing system restore.
