Not really, almost each one has a unique story and setting, so it never really gets old. They even change the gameplay every now and then. If they made 46 games about Cloud then yes that would be a lot. But I see it as 46 different games sharing the same name.

Final Fantasy for the win. I wonder how long they will keep going.

I like FPS's but I prefer Final Fantasy sometimes. It all depends in what mood I am in.

I hate FF. I get bored after 1 hour.

They have gotten every last thing they can from that series

Most of them have been console-only, so I won't be getting it.

There are always going to be new things they will add or change for as long as they decide to keep going with the project.

It is coming up to its 25th year soon so hopefully they will do something brilliant then.
