What do i need?

Hey guys, new up here on MPGH.

A simple question : What programs i should learn to script something "basic", like the basics for standard programming.

C# or VB.NET or C++ or Ruby or Python or Scheme.

Python.

See, I have no idea what that does from a quick skim, whereas I'd know if it was more C-style D:

Learn C# if you want something simple and easy enough to understand. Python is also simple but i don't really like it... No idea why haha just don't like it.

What do i need?
