yes because ebx value is 0 or 1 (traced it b4)
DWORD BasicPlayerInfo = *(DWORD*)(CShell +0x9CA728);

unsigned long BPI = *(unsigned long*)((unsigned long)GetModuleHandle("CShell.dll") + 0x9CA728);

unsigned faster! (same effect.......)

Also vauge code. What if someone doesn't know CShell is *(unsigned long*)((unsigned long)GetModuleHandle/A/W(uncid or ansi......... i use multi byte char suport.................)("CShell.dll") ?

FUck unsignwed long
DWORD is better

In the assembly it is the same -.-

typedef unsigned long DWORD

Edit :

C++ :

*(DWORD*)(0x12345678) = 1;
*(unsigned long*)(0x12345678) = 1;

Assembly :

wWinMain+15 - B8 01000000 - mov eax,00000001
...
wWinMain+21 - A3 78563412 - mov [12345678],eax
wWinMain+26 - A3 78563412 - mov [12345678],eax
i use bool XD

That's the fastest
If the value of the adress is bigger than 256, it would be much bigger than 1 or 0 if you use bool.
I think char is the same as bool in asm

@ Thread : There is no ghost pointer, the ghost values are located in the pointer for some player informations.

Oops xD
/msg2short...
DWORD is the same as unsigned int
find the line 151 in windefs.h:

Code:
typedef unsigned long       DWORD;
and @derh.acker
u cant even use char or short because he used DWORD just to read a value from a pointer and it will be used later
like what we use to do with WeaponMgr
Well, there is a huge difference in space between DWORD and CHAR. Char is 1 byte and DWORD is the same as int and it's 4 bytes, so if you replace DWORD with char you will crash crossfire because it's accessing the wrong data space.

EDIT:

AND giniyat, CHECK YOUR PMs!
