Its easiest to do this with assault for obvious reasons. But if you want something like Recon, just get some friends who are willing to just get points in assault by the revives as you kill someone and they kill you over and over.
I've been looking for people to boost with, but not many people know about this, sadly.

If you figure out how to use Google its still possible to host a server on a whit-listed IP and rank up. Current price is around 60 US for renting a server, requires knowledge of using linux to install VMware and then install windows server 2008 then install the server files. Then you have to add a serverID.dat file to your config folder, and change some offsets. I was Sad when I saw Dice deleted my account from the leader-boards today 100,000,000 points but oh well.
