Frist you learn c++, Then learn a bit of asm, then you are going to look at memory hacking and PTC hacking afther that you are going to try to make a d3d hack. You can't learn c++ by just copieing code's... and trie it on a game...
What are you going to do if somting doesn't work? Ask again? And what if the game securety blocks your code? Then you think you did somthing wrong...

If you are a real coder... Then you know that you never start with nothing. There is alway's a program that needs to be expend. You need to start with nothing for 1/10 times or less.
So use the recources you have. But if you are learning. Then do it on your own. Understand everything. But first learn. Then create.

You will learn the basic with that book. But then in a very fast way. In other books they will show you more, and they will show you more exampels why and how to use.
